a spark plug wire? a fuel injector? the rubber collar between the air box and the throttle body? fuel hoses from the tank to the fuel rail?

Does anyone have the part number for the rubber collar? I cannot find it on MAX BMW's on-line parts fish.

Has any one replaced the gasket material on the rear trunk? BMW's replacement gasket is around $34.

Yup. I'm getting a parts order together.

Oh. On our site I found a 5X10mm panel srew listed. I can't seem to find where that is used. I did find 6X10mm but not the 5X10.

Finally, before I forget, anyone have the link about replacing the rivets that hold the rear disk to the hub? BMW may have gone to bolts in 2001?

I know a few that had to replace the plug wires. There have been some that sent off the injectors to be cleaned and measured for flow.

The rubber part is in diagram 11_1887 "Intake Manifold" and is item #5.

I have only seen hex head countersunk bolts holding the rotor to the rear hub, but those are only a helper to keep it from falling off when you remove the wheel. the wheel bolts will hold it securely when the wheel is back on.

Thanks for the reply John.

I easily found the hoses. I'm debating if I should replace the hoses while I have everything apart? Info on how long they last is what I'm trying to dredge up.

I was poking around Ari's site when I ran across pixs of the rubber collars he had to replace and the consiquences of one taking in air thru a leak.
