Side comment to a ~ hijack:

I know that you are joking, but I must be sipping the KoolAid. Seems to me that BMW does listen if you take what a lot of people did to their K1200LTs and then look at the K1600. Most of the mods that I did to my K1200LT and things that I added seem to be incorporated in the K1600.

I could make a list, but for me, it started with improved lighting, better handling, removable storage and goes on.... (except for that damn horn!)

Now back to the options that I DIDN'T GET !!!!!!!!!!
