Was taking my right mirror off the LT the other day and SNAP a piece of plastic was on my garage floor. Ouch! Yes it was the usual suspect, the rear plastic bridge had broken off. What to do; drill and zip tie or what?
Long story short I found the stuff called Q-Bond.com. I ordered and used it. WOW! It really works as advertised. I put one drop on each side of this small piece of plastic and it is in place and stronger than before.

Perfect timing with your post. I found the plastic cracked that holds the mirror clip onto the ball stud; thus, I couldn't get the mirror to attached to the stud. A couple hours of frustration until I found the crack. Where did you purchase the product?

Found it on Amazon.com. $13 and some change. Free shipping with Amazon Prime. I hope it performs as well as you say. A replacement part is $136.

I've used JB Weld on both my mirrors and it works great.
