For those that want to use the mapsource topo with the V6 or V7 City Navigator maps, I found a way to do this.

I don't know if anyone else has figured this out but I thought I would post it anyway.

You can load both detail map sets, as much as your compact flash card can hold, I have a 2 gig CF.

Then you can turn off the map sets in the info menus when you want to use either function.

As you know you can't use both at the same time, but if you have the v7 or v6 mapset active and topo off you can auto route to a location and save the route then activate the topo maps and turn off the v6 or v7 (which ever you have installed)

I found this out when I upgraded the maps from V6 to V7 and noticed the detail map files were in larger chunks of land.
