I found that the second fuse (4A) in the left most box as you look at the back of the LT has gone. I think it handles the front lights.

I can only find 5A and stronger in town.

Would it cause me a problem if I fitted the 5A fuse?

I have the 2003 USA model.

Have you checked in your tool kit. Mine came with a spare.
5A will work as a temp fix - replace it as soon as you can
