I have a fuel leak right where the quick connectors are by the pump....
any ideas on how to fix? This is just one of the connectors that seem to have cracked.
thanks

There was a bulletin on the quick disconnects. It only amounted to seeing if they were cracked at the time though. Mine broke about 6 months after the bulletin was done on my bike . Just like yours, it was only one of them. I temporarilly placed a brass barbed spline in the line and used 2 worn type hose clamps to secure it.

The real fix is to replace it with the metal Quick Disconnects that BMW should have used in the first place. I am sure someone will jump in and show you a source for those.

Also....please go here and fill out a report with the NHTSA . If enough of us do this we may get BMW to actually change this part out to a safe part.

Simon, I wish it was part 14 that was leaking, but not that lucky.
Thanks to every one who replied, I will do what I can to get up and running again, while I can get some metal connectors sent to me

Luck is, I suppose, very subjective.
I have had a leak from that part 3 times in the last year !, fixed ? every time by the dealer.
After the last one, they put a new tank and pump on.
