I recently purchased a 2009 K1200LT with a sidecar and it is now time to send my front seat to Russell for customization. I want to buy a cheap seat to use while this one is gone. Does anyone know which years interchange? Thanks for any information.

The 2005-2009 models will accept all front-seat from all years (including early K1200LT of 1999-2004).
HOWEVER, the reverse would require a small modification (if trying to fit a 2005+ seat on an early model).

Thanks for the information. The used seats on eBay are confusing as to what they say they can fit. Glad to know that all of them fit.
