The CB radio would have been fun to install...

Ok. Coupla things my new best friend didnt mention in the OP:
1. The rear rotor is an EBC unit.
2. There's a complete set of stock shocks, 18k or so on them.
3. Badass milled aluminum oil filter wrench
4. Brand new aftermarket rear brake pedal.
And...
5. Brake bleeding reservoir funnel.

Did I mention Kevin is my new best friend?

As I pointed out to my wife, that CB could possibly be a lifesaver if I get stranded somewhere without cell service. Might be I could find a trucker willing to send help my way. Remote? Sure, but a chance. And I can give myself a cool trucker handle, and jaw with the truckers on the road. YMMV.

I put a CB on mine shortly after I bought it. I use it mainly for group rides as it makes communicating bike to bike much easier and has better range than most FRS style radios. I don’t use it a lot, but it can come in handy occasionally.

I probably will not put a CB on another bike as I will have to get BT headsets on my next bike, even though I much prefer wired headsets, and once you have BT you can do at least limited bike to bike communication as long as you don’t get separated too much. And if you do, pull over and use your cell phone. Given the cost and cumbersome design of the CB for BMWs, (not integrated nicely as was the case with the Wing) I would not buy another J&M style unit.
