Well, I see several clues revealing the high price:

1) new parts
2) BMW dealership
3) Sierra, i.e. Sierra/Nevada area
4) California, as in too close to

I realize anything purchased at a BMW is higher priced. but this price really shocked me. it's ridiculous.

One other thing - Official BMW made accessory, always $$$$. They were an option you could order with your new LT.
