Norcal's Expresso Riders will ride to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park the weekend of May 2-4, 2008. Accomodations will be at the Wuksachi Lodge in Lodge Pole smackdab in the middle of the park. Make your own reservation online. Book now for best selection and avoid the inevitable spring sellout. There is a 48 hour full cancellation policy. First come, first serve. Open menu dinner on Friday and Saturday nights at the Lodge restaurant. There is a $10 entrance fee for the park or use your Annual Pass. Rally point for the ride down to be determined. All riders welcome. Couples, single, any make with legal exhaust.

Some photos from the Sequoia Kings Canyon Roadtrip(SKR) in 2005. Can you tell our Rick Mayer seat is brand new and that Jeanie and I have both lost 20 pounds since then? I think everyone agreed that was an excellent trip.

By this time next week we'll be fully engaged in this ride! The road between the parks has been open for a month but the road down into Kings Canyon just opened today. Spring has sprung and the snowmelt begun! The Wuksachi Lodge is sold out but there are still a few rooms available at Grant Grove Village in case the gorgeous weather and capital riding conditions have the highway calling your name.

A great time was had by all, Eileen and I couldn't catch up with the rest of the pack after getting caught by the traffic light and slow traffic after the lunch stop (I think I had you in sight once only to have the traffic slow us down again) thanks for setting up a great weekend.

Don't think so... we were off of the Sierra's about 2pm... the rest of the trip was on the sooper slab... I think... then again, I was bummed cause the weekend was over...

Not one of ours but we saw that same LT as we were coming out of the area late Sunday morning. We did have one of ours on an F650 heading north on 245 about 1100.
