Good day fellow bikers

I am curious if one of you guys can help me with some info. I am migrating from Switzerland to Australia soon and will take my good old K12LT along.

It isn't a problem as far as I know, but. . . .

Now my question: Do you have to make some big & expensive alterations to the HEADLIGHTS of the bike, because of changing from permanent right-side-driving to permanent left-side-driving?

I'd be glad to get some useful info here.

Cheers
Pat

Thanx Ralph, well done!

Shipping cost? It goes in the same container as the household-goods and is charged by cubic-meter. If I sell it here I loose probably more. I can't afford that.

Cheers

G'day Pat
Names John and I live about 1.5 hrs south of Brisbane. It's a great part of the world and has some excellent rides close by.
If I can be of any assistance, don't hesitate to ask.

You poor bastard...... the Deep North. Though its a good place if your bike is black, as you avoid fading from the extra sunlight due to daylight savings.

the deep north? can't follow, please explain

fading of paintwork is a hassle. when i took my suzuki to capetown (RSA) it "eat" the marron paint in under 6 month away! (even though I used wax etc.)
