I put 80,000 miles on a 67 FLH, and have the kidney damage to prove it.
I enjoyed the old-school bike thing, but not the brakes, suspension, weight, balance, electrical system, chrome, acceleration, handling, vibration and a few other minor deficiencies associated with 1940's technology; but the rest was great!

Ride one? Take an LT on a nice long road trip, the most Harleys that you will see are on the trailer being hauled to some place that's "scenic".

I live about 125 miles from Daytona, depending on the route you take. Every time there is a bike event in Daytona, I see my neighbors loading their HD's on trailers for the "Trek" to Daytona.

I usually just blast over and back the same day, and always enjoy the ride.

As long as we're posting non-jokes, I have one

A priest, a rabbi and Jon Steward walk into a bar. The bartender says, "what will you have."

I've never ridden an HD, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Correction, I have ridden a Buell. Is that the same?
