Was wondering what others temperature gauge read when their fans finally came on to help cool the motor. Tested mine out and the needle went into the red before the fans finally came on. Is this the normal?

Both radiators are clean and the coolant is full. Can you give me an idea of where your temp. gauge is when the fan kicks on for your bike. Thanks

Pretty much at the white or in the red before it comes on. Generally on a 100F+ day and going fairly slow. This has always concerned me, but likely isn't an issue.

Mine is a 2000 also, so I'm going to take for granted it's the nature of the beast and not sweat the small stuff.
