I cannot believe the number of people who signed up for our little SS CCR lake superior harbor cruise. I'm happy to see as many people are as interested in it as I am.
Don't worry though, I hate crowds, so I purposely limited the number of people to be half of what the boat is designed to hold. I'm really looking forward to a relaxing cruise with some serious photographic opportunities.

Having said that, the schedule for the trip is just like getting on an airplane. You need to queued up and ready to board at 6:30. We need to be on, anchor up, and the lines cast off by 6:45. We need to be at the world famous lift bridge as it goes up at exactly 7pm.

If you're pulling into the parking lot at 6:30, you're most likely going to be watching us sail into the sunset. We'll raise our glass and wave. :wave Don't be stuck on the dock, come on over a bit early and look around the gift shop.

See you on the boat!

Hey Brad I'm sure this has been posted some where but ....

Do we pick up the tickets for the Cruise with our registration package?

I know last year for the cutting horse show we had to print our own tickets & bring them.

Great question.

This year we're keeping it super simple - if you bought anything extra (Get Acquainted Breakfast, Chef Demo Lunch, or Harbor Cruise) it'll be marked on your name badge.

For instance, if you are going on the Harbor Cruise, the word "Cruise" will be on the lower rocker of your name badge.

No tickets to worry about - just have your name badge on at all times.

Steve,

Looks like the path goes under the interstate. Can it be walked ... or must you ride over?

Yup - easy walk from the hotel to Vista Cruises. Two routes, through the skywalk or on the street. Each way will save you $5 in parking. ;-)

I'm leaving from the hotel lobby, on foot, @ 6p if people wanna go over pied-piper style.

Teach 'em to read, buy 'em books, and what do they do, eat the covers.
