Probably the best touring video I've ever seen.

Dude, you've got this down to a science. Very well done.

Excellent video!! I usually don't like to watch anything like this for more then 4-6 minutes but you kept me riveted :)

What kind of camera did you use?

Yo SD , glad you like the vid ...

This was shot with a very simple video rig. A small Sony HRX-CX560. This camera is about the size of a beer can , draws NO attention while you shooting but takes great video. About $750. Also used a cheap little point and shoot and my Iphone. I have a super cheap travel tripod from Wally World. The excellent still photos are from Britt Runyon, the other rider on the trip. The editing was done in FCP 7 on a MAC back here in the states. This camera records full on HDV 1080i in the AVCHD format so be aware of that and any issues you may have with your editing software. If your looking from a video camera for moto travel I'd suggest the CX700 which has a real viewfinder not just the screen, about $1,000, wish I had got that one. Hope this helps.

I have been shooting with a Sony SR-12 however I just sold it and am moving more towards using my SLR for shooting and thinking about a GoPro for the bike.
I am going to make the move from FCP 7 to FCP X this week to edit a load of scuba video I just shot in Indonesia. I do wish Final Cut handled AVCHD natively but I have been using Clip Wrap for my conversions and it does nice job.

Send a link when you get the scuba stuff up.
