Like they say, It's NOT a motorcycle..

I almost ran over several curbs when exiting various parking lots..
So there is going to be a learning curve..
Foot brake only. Took me about ten minutes to stop reaching for the front brakes.
It will easily do a burnout with the back tire.. But that's no fun...:)
It feels like it's going to lift a wheel sometimes when turning.. Hanging off while turning seems to mitigate this feeling.. Don't know if it's real or imagined...
Has ABS and about three other computerized driveline safety thingies. Traction control only works when the bars are turned or you are going faster then 31 mph... So those burnouts are easily accomplished...VSS, Vehicle Stability System Supposedly will keep all the wheels on the ground. But you can't turn off any of the safety systems so no sliding thru the corners like they show on the video..

It's fun but the riding position is forward like a crotch rocket..So my elbows were smarting when I got it home. I''m sure it's going to take some getting used to..

I have to take it today to be "inspected" by the insurance company..And take her check by.
At least that's what I told Lindy... Don't clue her in OK ?

I predict she will be on it at 6:10 this evening...The rest of the week is supposed to be giving us awesome weather.. ( Into the 80's by Thursday.)

This will likely become Lindy's main ride so if anybody needs a 750 Virago let me know.

We Be Ridin'.

More pictures later today..

You know Howard, It's cool and all that. And a fun little diversion..

But it just can't hold a candle to a real bike..

Hope you guys like yours as well as we like ours!! W can even take all the tupperware off by herself! We added taller backer bars, taller shield, Russell seat, Givi bags and top case, McCruise, etc, etc, etc.

Wait till you crank the loud handle. Just don't forget to hold on!

GREAT FUN!!

I guess it'll go Interstate speeds without difficulty..
We went to dinner tonight and Lindy had it up to 75 getting around a cattle truck...
Guess she didn't like the smell...:p

Fun, Fun, Fun !!

Well it really looks like we came out smellin' on this one...

Going thru the paperwork I called the local dealer and found out that the Spyder also has an extended warranty on it till June 2013

Way to go Lindy.. !!!! That's a load off my mind for the next two years...

Way to go P.O....
