Hi all;

I have been looking at purchasing an LT ( prefer 2005 or 2006 if pricing is good) and have seen quite a difference in some similar bikes.

Some have conn systems, CB's, and others of the same years don't.

Are there different models for the same years? What are the models letters?

Beginning 2005 there were no longer any letter designations. It was pick among the options and have them installed, that's the reason you see a disparity among what is installed on 2005 and up.
