My 2012 RT has been at the dealer's for the last 4 weeks to be repaired for extensive damages sustained when it was hit an knocked over by some wheeled crane while being parked along the kerb. Last I heard from the dealer, a few days ago, was that they were still waiting for a right handlebar, a front light unit and a left mirror from BMW Germany.

Now, these parts have apparently been ordered almost a month ago. Does this seem a normal delay to you? Or is my dealer just taking care of my bike when they find the time?

Thank you.

Sounds about right to me. When I had my F800ST it sat at the dealer for almost two months waiting for a new breather hose.

2 months! Geez! Was that the part that was on recall? I had a F800 ST myself, and I remember some kind of hose that would pinch or something.
