Dude!.. thanks for the trip... down memory lane. We lived in Manheim, Germany for 3 years. Our daughter was born there, and yes, visited Baden-Baden several times to show our parents around.

Lost $20 "right now" in the Casino.

Are there always so many bikes on the roads now, or was that a special day?

As countries go, Germany has a long history of broad support for music and other art from other countries, so it does not seem so surprising.

I've enjoyed viewing many riding videos, but I found this one as hauntingly beautiful...especially with that music. Thanks for the ride. :)

I rode from Stuttgart to Baden-Baden straight through the Black Forrest going East to West. This is prime territory for motorcycles. The mountains with its sweeping curves, peaks, creeks, and valleys attracts a lot of motorcyclist. The short answer is yes. Motorcyclist were out in force on a Sunday.

Germany still has no work on Sundays. But in Baden-Baden there were thousands of tourist lounging alfresco on the local eateries at town square. I think they came to spend the weekend there and had nothing else to do other then snack, eat, and lounge in the sun on Sunday.

As for the music, they were actually playing this music at the square. I got the idea to use their music as background while I was lounging in the sun and enjoying myself.
