Date for the 2013 LT Treffen at Moffat

12/13/14 July clashes with the Saltburn reunion. I for one would not like to see the annual mid July Saltburn reunion abandoned. I, and possibly others, have made arrangements to attend this.
As a caveat regardless I would not be travelling to Moffat anyway.

Accepting you can't please everyone all the time, Mark, I wouldn't attend any more meetings at Saltburn after this year. Numbers are already dropping and it's had its day as far as I'm concerned. I've not proposed moving the Treffen by myself. It came out of a discussion with Phil.

I'm not trying to impose anything. The opportunity is there to have a weekend at an excellent hotel that's more motorcycle friendly than almost any other but if the consensus is that we stay at Saltburn I'll drop the idea.

The numbers have dropped and from what I remember when we were at Ricks the treffens were going to be held at various locations throughout the uk.The last couple of years it has been in Saltburn.
I think it was only held here this year because there was not anything done about sorting another venue.We are a bit more on the ball for next years starting early looking at the numbers in such a short time that have voted to go to Moffat I think it will happen.
The venue is ideal for what we want and there is secure parking and plenty of places to visit.For those that would still like a get together to be held in Saltburn next year this is quite possible and very easy for me to arrange, but lets have the main treffen at a different location

Apologies to all. I didn't notice that it was 2013 that was being referred to. I agree in 2013 the treffan should not be in Saltburn.

Thats what we are hopeing for Juergen its a nice part of the world, not to long now until this years hopefully give the weather chance to improve

Thanks, Juergen. Unless things change drastically by next weekend I'll tell the hotel that we'll be coming on the 12th-14th July 2013. Then all we have to do is get some publicity going so that we can get a lot of riders there. The great thing about Moffat is that there are other pubs and B&B places very close to the Buccleuch so if we run out of rooms there it isn't a problem.

I've told the hotel that our preferred weekend is 12th-14th July 2013 and am waiting for their reply about how soon we need to make reservations. I would prefer it if you made your own arrangements with the hotel but please make sure you mention the LT Treffen 2013 in any correspondence so they know you're with the group.
