Hi friends from over the pond,

I am still planning on some details for our next years trip in the USA. I passed by the above mentioned road a couple of times during former trips on a Goldwing, since I was alone - I never did that road. It must be fantastic with all its views I heard.
It is a scenic backway.

Anyyone has been there and rode on that road? I am still struggeling to do it in our trip planning since it is 46 Miles offroad.

Any advice is helpfull.

Probably more than one Cottonwood Canyon in Utah ... have ridden quite a few worthwhile side roads there. If you're day tripping close by SLC there is Big Cottonwood, Little Cottonwood and American Fork Canyon / Alpine Loop, which also has a hiking trail to Timpanogos Cave if it's open ... sometimes when you get to a fork in the road ... take it !!!

LT will do it depending on the rider and weather. But a friend of mine who rode it on an 1150GS said he wouldn't do it again on such a big bike. Dropped it in a patch of sugar sand and had to get help getting the beast back upright. Next time the Kaw400.
