If I ever get an answer to removing the wind deflectors, I can probably do a template . Right now everything is assembled and I'm going for a ride tomorrow 😁
Cooler Riding in the Summer
The RT has a great fairing and windshield system that keeps the wind off the rider. In Texas in the summer it's a big negative. After taking a closer look at the system I came up with a modification that puts a little more air on the rider. It is just a bit of sheet metal that directs the air to my chest, rather than sending it over my head. As you raise the windshield the vent opens up. My ride is significantly cooler now 😁

Before I added the vent I got very little air flow at my chest, with the vent it's not a blast, but more like a 10- 15 MPH breeze. Enough so that my mesh gear works. With a little tinkering it could be improved by extending the leading edge. I didn't want to remove too much air going up the backside of the wind screen as I would think some forces are necessary to counteract other forces against the windshield. So far I have had the bike up to 100mph with no negative effects or noise.

The mounting doesn't photograph well. 
See the attached photos. Note the sheet metal 90 degree pieces with the 2 holes. The big hole fits on the windshield adjustment frame top boss. Then the windshield reinforcement fits over the boss, compressing the 90 degree piece in place when the windshield is screwed in down. The small hole goes to the vent axel, so the vent angle can be adjusted and fixed. I hope that that explanation makes sense I was attempting to hide the evidence in case my idea didn't work
