Just a silly question, is there any trick to getting the small bolt that holds in the brake pads out after you have pulled the calliper from the disc and removed the retaining pin ?

The bolt has a flat screw driver head to it but when I twist the bolt it just spins in place. I tried pushing on the bolt from the back side and no movement, I tried spinning the bolt while pushing on the back of it and no luck.

Is my bolt just stripped ?

The pin has a small spring clip holding it in place, a few light taps from the backside with a small drift punch will get it started.

Yes I pulled the retaining pin but I can't get the bolt to move. I will try tapping some more from back.

Yes, There is the small wire clip that you pulled out. But there is also a spring clip around the pin creating a friction fit to hold it in place.

There's a rounded spring loaded bushing on the shaft. What you have is not a bolt or screw but a retainer pin. You have to punch it out from the opposite end of the slot where you had the screwdriver.
