I have a Cobra handheld cb. It is quite tall especially with antennae. Where have you all mounted your CB's. Pics are always helpful.

RAM mount into the left mirror boss. RAM radio mount onto the ball with a three inch extension. Prior to that I kept the handheld in the tank bag. Much better reception up on the handlebars. I never mounted a handheld CB only an ICOM GMRS. I could never get my Midland handheld CB to integrate properly with the BC3 intercom. Primarily push-to-talk problems. Eventually, I got the J&M CB which also mounts on the left handlebar above the brake reservoir. Fully integrates and works very well. Very big bucks though. I only use it when riding solo to monitor truck freqs.
