If I was looking at this bike I would request the seller to meet me at the local DMV to make the transaction. If he would not I would stay away from the bike. If they really want to sell the bike meeting at the DMV should not be a problem.

Yeah, I had gotten a great deal on my RT also, but this is ridiculous. The seller claims that he had no room in his garage, and therefore price the bike for a sure sales!

It's a 5 year old bike (soon to be 6 years old) and the market is very soft for selling anything much less a bike right now. Average price.

Looks real,
he is about 1 hour north of me in White Plains, NY.
I just bought the sistership to this one in November:
2007 RT, Silver, with 5500 miles, BMW top case, no ESA,
heated grips/seat, computer.
paid $10500 was in the NADA guide within that
price range at the time.

But that K 1600 GT for $8500, that one smells a little:
FISHY!!!
