Mr "Boyscout" is a hoarder. The house is so packed with junk, that neither bomb tech's nor robots can maneuver inside the house. Explosives could be mixed in with this junk. The only way to safely destroy the explosives is with a "controlled" burn. And, If there are any explosions during the burn, noone will be around to be harmed.

Burn "partitions" have been installed around the neighbors homes, along with remote controlled fire hoses. So the fire will be contained to just the target. Damage from any explosion could still be possible, if the explosion were big enough......

Let's see how this little theory all works out? :D

They would "technically" be guilty of destroying evidence...
Unless the man has already been tried, convicted and his property confiscated..

Then they can pretty much do what the hell they want...

There is no more "evidence"... is this "evidence tampering"?
That's what Boy Scout's attorney was arguing. The federal judge wasn't buying it!

Kind of like "military intelligence?" :D

Thank God--ERR--some imaginary non existant higher power, that DHS wasn't handling this "burning!"

"Federal judge"... that does not inspire much confidence in justice.
Agreed!

I wonder what the land lady's insurance company will say about all this "firing?" :eek2:

O.K., I'll ask it again..."What about the right to own and bear arms?" Nowhere in this report does it indicate that due process was adhered to. Now, where are the "Freedom First" folks at when needed most?
Well, firearms were found inside, also! :D

DUH!...I knew that. Now , were they legally acquired, or is this another example of too much government?
Don't know about the guns. Maybe they were used for the bank robberies and the bombs for "happy time?" :D Except the gardener, who stepped on one of the bombs--no happy time for him! He enjoyed "pucker time."

There has been several "misfires" inside the house also--has evidenced by the explosion marks and blown-out windows. So the "housekeeper" probably ran off a long time ago. But the old hag was still around! :D
