Hey Genltemen,

When you view the schematic for ( Brake Line,Integral ABS,Front ) on Max Bmw for an '02 LTC, is that front brake line worth trying to tackle myself ? I do realize that I will need to bleed the system, and I also have the facrory service manual and the Clymer for my machine. Oh, I should add that I am mechanicaly capable, I own a BMW.

Tomorrow when I get home from work, I'm going to pull the fuel tank and radio box so that I can see for sure which hose it is. I'll let you know then exactly what is leaking. Thank you

So John, It is the number 1 hose. Wouldn't you have to bleed the entire front system anyway. Everytime you squeeze the brake lever, it swirts fluid, only to suck in air on the return path. Tom

And then my last question, and I just can't find the answer. How do I loosen the right grip so that I can twist is slightly to be able to get to the bolt on the brake line ?

John, thank you for your help. I tried getting a hose made local, but not happening. It was the crazy fixture on the end that is bolted into the hardline that stopped production. Anyway,MAX BMW has my order and I'll have the part in a couple of days. I'm taking advantage of having everything taken down and changing the air filter, and just checking everything over. Gotta make this a positive. Thanks again. Peace
