Sorry if this has been asked before. I have a spongy rear brake on my 2000 lt. Think it may be time the brake hoses need replaced. Now my question is do I bleed the brake normally ie at the calipers or will I have to bleed the abs unit first. I changed the brake hoses on my 1100gs a couple of years ago and just bled them from the caliper without problem, so will the Lt be the same
Thanks Dave

You have the ABS II system and it bleeds just like a regular old car. In one reservoir, MC , then passes through the ABS and comes out the caliper. The ports on the ABS are the high points and you may want to pull from them just to make sure no air was trapped there after you finish everything else. The new lines will really improve your braking response.

Thanks for the info. The rear brake still locks the wheel but you can continue to press the pedal to its max travel, so for peace of mind I am going to get hoses made up for it.
Thanks again :)
