BMW Roundel LED's

Has anyone tried these LED lights yet? I was at Rick Mayer Saddles yesterday and he put a pair on his 1000RR. They make a nice low profile running/directional signal light. Check out his Website. I'm ordering a set for the LT and the GS.

If you do a web search for BMW Motorcycle Roundel LED there are other sources that are about $55 to $70.00 less expensive per pai.

Be sure to spell roundel with an O and a U

Hello,

the actual exchange rate is 1$ = 0.75 Euro. If you order from outside Europethe German tax will automaticly reduced (19%).
The best way is to pay by PayPal, if you don't have an account you can create aPayPal guest account and pay with your credit card.

Shipping costs to the USA are approx 6-7$ (depending on the products you want).

Best regards

Stefan Schröder

Just recently seen one
On the RT side Picture thread on his trunk I believe from CA. Never seen it up close like you. My dealer may charge more to undress the lady for service. I would not mind having a pair for the LT front Roundel hope I did that right

Re: BMW Roundel LED's

To resurrect an old thread...

I decided to try the roundel LED backlights from Dimotiv:
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=131409838814

They were about half the cost of the 360 units for a pair (the Dimotivs are about $125 w/shipping).

I removed the roundels by warming them up w/a heat gun, then drilling a hole in the tupperware to accommodate the wiring. Both sides of the LED discs have adhesive on them and they sandwich between the body panel and the existing roundel.

Protected the leads with heat shrink and installed weatherproof 3-conductor connectors and a strain relief.

It was a nice little project and looks good.
