I see that the NAV IV now comes with free map updates.
Does this mean my NAV IV bought in the Spring has free updates as well?

I went to the map update page for Garmin and typed
in my serial #. I get 2 options either lifetime or onetime purchase.
So, I'm guessing I do not get free updates....

Any help is appreciated. :wave

If it DID NOT have free Life time maps when you bought it, it WILL NOT have them now. You will have to buy the lifetime maps. It is well worth the money. I bought mine for my work truck & the Bike on Amazon for about $60.00 each a few months ago. You will get 4 update a year for the life of what ever GPS you in buy it for. Remember 1 update ONLY works on 1 GPS so if you have more then 1 GPS you will need a different Life Time Pam for each one.
