I may be hoteling in Beatty for one evening. I'm looking at the $60/$80 per night. I want to feel comfortable leaving my LT in the parking lot. I'd appreciate any info.

If you are doing the Death Valley thing, there is a motel in Furnace Creek. Might be cool.

Nothing I would like better, but I'm on a budget and that place isn't cheap.

Thank you

There is also the Longstreet Inn and Casino in Amargosa Valley. It's a safe place and close to Death Valley. I've lived here 30 years and would recommend it.

Don't remember the names of the places, but on the north side of town was a couple of brand name hotels with casinos. They were $100+ per night. On the south edge of town was a small mom and pop motel with only a couple of cars in the lot. We rode up on our bikes (2 of us, me on an RT, and my brother on a Voyager) and the lady literally ran out of the office waving her arms about telling us they were booked full and they had no room for us. About 2 blocks off the beaten path was an old motel, $35 for the night and very biker friendly. After we checked in we rode to one of the casinos for dinner and we passed the "full" motel going to and from the casino and there never was anyone there. Appeared that the lady had a grudge with motorcycle riders.

Sure wish I could remember the name of the place we stayed, it wasn't much to look at, but it was clean, dry and felt safe. As I recall, they had moved a bunch of mobile homes in there and turned them into hotel rooms.

Good luck and enjoy the ride around there.

It's been a while but last time I was there I stayed in a good sized motel wraped around a small casino right in the middle of town. Nothing special, but it had the Three S's I required.
