I was cleared Friday to start short trips on the bikes again but no long trips until the end of the month. Of course I was at PT and in the 330ci and headed to Chattanooga for the CCR final scouting trip. So I had to wait until Sunday to get my first ride in since February. All I can say is WoW!! It sure felt good.

I thought I felt some kind of cosmic shift while I was riding Sunday. Might have also been the braunschweiger and cheddar for lunch in WI, but great news, John.

Have fun,
Jer

Glad to hear your surgery and rehab was a success. I'm sure getting back on the bike is an event worth celebrating.
I've been grounded myself since Janet fell and destroyed her prosthetic hip a month ago. After a 3 hour surgery she it's all been repaired. In the mean time I've been a full time nurse, and chief cook and bottle washer this past month. She's improving steadily and I'm hoping to get "my first ride" next week!

OK, everybody sing along.......... "He's back in the saddle again" :)

That has to be A LOT better than that first spring ride we all get every year.

Thanks All. It is really great to be where I am today. The back and core of muscles around it feel good and strong. I can walk long distances once again (that was almost more important than the bike riding). It is amazing how much you miss simple tasks when you can no long perform them, and how quickly they can come back following surgery. Now if the weather would just cooperate...
