While on Ebay, I ran across a set of mirrors from the BMW Montauk . They look like they might fit on the LT but I'm not sure. I know most people prefer the RS mirrors but this might be a good alternative. Has anyone tried them?

The mounting points look reasonable, so they may work. I'd look closely at the R1200 switch gear and see if they use the same parts as the LT. If so, then you should be fine.
