I was at Gina's BMW in Iowa City picking up a new GTL and found a deal on Autocom. If anyone is interested, Gina's is selling out their Autocom units at 50% off. Super Pro (3 left in stock) for $275 and L-1 (several in stock) at half off also. Now if I can just find a place under the seat to mount the Super Pro I'd be in like Flynn!

The only place might be under the rear rack where the top case mounts.There is a small open area on top of the alarm module.

Thanks, I was just looking at autocom pictures and that's where it needs to go.

Steve: One question I hope you can answer. I also emailed Bryan at Autocom. I have read that if the anti-theft alarm is installed the open area under the rear case is not available for the install of the SPA. Can you confirm? (Please say it ain't so!).

Not sure of the size of the SPA but there is "Some" room there.

I have an older Pro AVi that is mounted on top of the alarm under the rear rack. Snug fit but it is there and worked great on our last overnight trip.

Yep...saw that earlier today and going to get one on order. Just put in a Zumo 660 today...wow, what a chore...must've taken a minute to install that GPS! BMW sure did it right this time.
