I have an Audiocom(?) headset connection to the bike under the driver seat. As I am the only one using it, can it be removed without disrupting any of the audio/radio functionality? Not that it bothers me but it is wasted space and wiring. Thanks, you are all so very helpful with your immense surplus of knowledge.

The Autocom system is typically connected to the rear speaker circuit. It is tapped from near the barrel connector under the rear seat. The power typically is drawn from one of the fuse blocks under the rear seat or from the heated seat circuit. Very easy to remove the Autocom....I have done it twice.

You should be able to remove it with no ill effects even if it has the audio tap into the rear speakers. That module can be left in place (if it is there, you should see a small toggle switch on the top case above the powerlet port ).
