Reminds me of a phone call I received a few years ago from an old friend ... and devout bachelor.

Him: "Hey, guess what. I got a wife!"

Yep ! Regardless of all the crap going on here and abroad, I still can't help smiling ever time I ride this bike. Never happened on any other machine.

My parents liked to ride horses. At the end of a long arduous day they would saddle up their horses and take a short ride. Sure made it alot easier for us kids when they got home!
Even though I am a cattle rancher I hate horses, they have the brains of a chicken!
I ride a motorcycles instead. It sure does turn things around!

Yep, going for a ride is a great cure for whatever ails you.

When my wife and I were working 12-hour days, she shared half of my hour long commute. By the time I picked her up all my work crap was gone, and by the time we got home all hers was too. The rest of the evening was ours.

When we moved to Wales, I had a 5-minute commute and she had none, so it was easy to bring crap home. I learned to take the long way home, or just come get her and then head out into the hills for a nice, long ride. We'd find a pub for dinner, then hit the motorway home. That worked great in the summer, but kinda sucked in mid-winter.

But even in the cold and wet, any ride was a good ride.

I haven't even SEEN mine!
It's in the shop, approx. 2 hours away, getting a new clutch and other innards. There's a strange-looking pretender in the garage right now, where the LT should be. It's an older K75. An... interesting bike, but I won't ride it again until I take it back to the dealer to pick up my LT. Nice of them to give me a loaner, but that thing is not for me. I feel like a jockey riding it, and the LT has me so spoiled with the wind protection and other amenities. <sigh>

Heavy rain next two day so I will for sure give her a big wet kiss as I leave for work That is so she will not be mad at me for leaving her at home
