A few days ago I saw instructions for soldering a couple of jumpers on the speedometer circut board to correct the speedometer reading for 99-04 LT's. I'm not worried about doing the work, but I was wondering if anyone tried this or had any problems after doing it. Thanks Dave

I did it on my '02. No problems. But if you have a GPS and look at it most the time anyway, I'm not sure the mod is worth the time and trouble.

MANY have done it. I have done several myself. It is not hard, IF you have a little experience soldering on compact circuit boards. If not, BE CAREFUL! Too much heat can damage it. You should have access to a very small tipped, low wattage or controlled temperature soldering iron.
