From my research on aftermarket seats and other seat options it appears that the Kontour product has the reputation of being right up there. I've emailed them with a query (turnaround time, price etc). Does anyone in Australia have the product on their bike ? I'm after some opinions, issues etc. I'm 90 Kg's and 5'10" with a 34" inseam, so I think I'd also like so sit a lille higher to reduce some knee angle. Maybe this product can also help in that department. Those Germans must have strange shaped arses if they think the otriginal seat shape is anything like correct

Dennis,

Just PM Ron...He owns the company...

His handle here is RonKMiller..

Easy enough..

I'm sure It'll just take a day or two to do the seat... The time is going to be in shipping..

Unless he's on vacation, He'll probably reply to this thread...

I see that he's on line right now..

Good Luck

John

Thanks John, yes, I now make the connection since Ron's recent posts. I emailed the company last night (Aust time) with an inquiry re price etc and provided all my stats. I'll seek Ron's advice, but I think I would benefit from just a little more height than standard as I've already made a seat heigt bar with extra lift above the standard highest setting. My knees cane me after a long time in the saddle, but I also think this may be a function of the stock seat not supporting me and allowing my hips to roll forward. The seats really are just wrong in stock form, too soft, wrong shape, I can't understand how they can be that bad, really !!
