I had a pair of the AlpineStars Effect boots:

After about the third wear the zippers became sticky and hard to use. I tried a little Bees Wax and no good. So on the forth wear they became stuck.

I called and they issued a RMA number and I sent them in. Last night they called and said they are going to replace the boots but they no longer make the Effex. So he said I am going to send you a set of the Web Boots:

He then said I am going to send them second day so you get them! Man what great service!

I wore these every day for 6 months until the Weather changed a bit here in Pennsatucky:

These are the nicest boot I have ever worn! Feel like slippers on and I wore them 12 hours a day.

I work as a Network Admin and in the summer we are on our feet the entire day doing imaging of about 800 machines. I have to say I had no desire to take the boots off they are so comfortable.

The Effex I sent in were the same way and I believe the Web will be too.

I just wanted to share that Alpinestars make a great product, they have made me a believer that motorcycle boots can be comfortable for all day use, and my experience with them has been first rate.

I'm on my second pair of Alpinestar Web boots. I had the first pair approx. 6 months when some stitching pulled loose. Sent them in for repair and they replaced them. I've had the second pair a year now. No problems and they are very comfortable. I'm not sure where pricing is now, but I paid $140 a year and a half ago. Six months later they were $170. Still probably worth the price. Since sales are off everywhere, a deal just might be possible.
