Well, I had about 10,000 miles on my 2008 GT when the idle started hanging up at 2,000 to 2,800 RPM's. Called the dealer and told them what was going on. The response was basically "bring it in and we'll put in a new airbox". Just got the bike back with a new airbox, reset of the idle air control valve and an update of the softwear. Haven't put enough miles on yet to be sure but it feels like the throttle control is better, less jerking on shifting and a little smoother. The bike was an early 2008 production model.

Glad they took care of you without hassle, although it sucks that we're still seeing this problem on '08 GTs. Guess we all have to sell our obsolete GTs and and buy the new K1300 model. :D
