Temp got up to +6 C (42 F) today so I babied the bike down the gravel path I
made on the snow yesterday and went out for the first ride of the year. Wow, what a pleasure, reminds me of all the reasons I bought the bike in the first place. Got a few odd looks and people at the gas pumps asked if it was cold, but it was worth it, also the first chance I've had to use the heated seat and grips.

Also tried out the Aerostich suit I bought used over the winter, cozy.

Good to hear it. I was also able to get out and fill the tank. Since the Gerbings were on for the first time I thought I'd go a bit further and jumped on the highway. Put about 70 miles on her with just a bit of cold on the neck. Finally! But it is really weird riding while there's still snow on the grassy areas.
