Hi everybody :wave
I have just purchased a 1999 LT. It has a non BMW Radio/Cd/MP3 player fitted. The only button on the bike that works is the power button to turn it on. I know the rest won't work. But the radio only stays on for a short period of time. Then a message flashes up on the BMW radio display(is that called the stingray?) "no radio" then it turns off.
Can I assume that this is because this is an aftermarket radio and cannot use the orignal wiring setup?
By the way, I have tried the battery disconnected overnight. No difference
Should I be looking at getting the feed from elsewhere
