Aerostich will have a presence as a vendor at CCR, but the details are still in the works.
Here's what I think is going to happen. They are going to put some stuff on display in our Vendor room, but be selling stuff out of their shop, because it is so close.
Y'all may not realize this, but as great as this company is, it's a smaller operation. Frankly, I don't think they have the manpower to operate the store and have folks hangin' at CCR.
Also, despite making some of the best gear on the planet, these are real humble folks. The question back to me when I asked if they'd be a vendor was, "Why would people want us to come display our stuff at your event?" I was a bit taken back, almost lost for words - and that doesn't happen often.
So, I've told them NO PROBLEM. People are going to want to come by and check the place out.
Some of the Board of Directors was at the Aerostich property early this year. Since then, I've kept in close contact with them. Basically, their facility has gone through a complete renovation. I've been told I won't even recognize it! Lynn has been cracking the whip on her contractors all summer, reminding them that they're 'hosting' a big motorcycle group the week before Labor Day.
So, you can stop in and do some shoppin' at your leisure, but we're going to have a sign-up sheet in the vendor area, for folks who want to see the full tour on Friday.
So, if you want to see how and where your suit is made, and by who, sign up in the vendor area. We'll coordinate all the details (only so many can go through the space at a time) and we'll probably announce final details at the banquet Thursday.
How's that for a full debrief?
