Active Cruise Control on 2022 R1250RT

My 2021 came with ACC and TPMS but no Radio, only Radio prep. The new 2022 that just showed up at my local dealer has same.

Where are you located? I'm in the SF Bay Area and the dealers here can't even order ACC right now.

Indiana - it could be that the units arriving were produced before this round of supply chain disruptions. Alternatively it could be that custom ordered units aren't able to get ACC. Dunno.

If you order the premium package are they telling you that ACC will not come with it?

I ordered a new RT October. Build date the week of Nov 8. No indication that it is not included on the bike. The only indication of something not available was radio. Just ordered radio prep. Will be pleased if it shows up without it

I went to two dealers today and neither can order it. One just received a triple black bike that doesn't have it (already sold). @TracerBullet I would confirm with your dealer. Maybe yours was allocated before they ran out of parts. The last wave of bikes that the dealers had did have ACC, but only had audio prep (BMW included bluetooth communicators).

I was told the same thing at Eurosport Asheville this past Saturday. Currently no radio, and no ACC on 2022 RTs.

This must be something new, and chip shortage is the most likeliest explanation, just like the radio! Very sorry to hear that, since the ACC is the feature that I like the most on the new RTs.

If they're missing ACC... seems a discount would be in order... but the freight charges may make up for that ..

I barely ever use CC... and doubt I'll ever use the ACC... maybe something that can be uninstalled/sold?

I asked about dealer retrofit (whenever the parts are available) and they thought it was unlikely. I'm not sure what all is missing, probably the sensor module and definitely a button on the left side of the controls.

I have faith that what I ordered will be delivered. If the bike was a customer order I believe any available chip would be installed in that bike as opposed to just a dealer allocation bike. If not then you are right a hefty discount is in order. Or no sale. and my deposit money back. My build date was a month ago.

On top of that, a retrofit, if possible, will likely cost you a lot more than if you had the ACC installed from the start!

All I have to say is "Ouch"... no radios still, no ACC... at least there's TPMS (I hope!)

I just had the local dealer here look up his current orders for December and they all have ACC listed on this build sheet. He cannot see January yet, so unsure if that will change then.

I have a 2022 R/T that's supposed to show up at the dealer on wed (Modesto calif.) it's been sitting on the east coast for about 30+ days...Let's see if anything is missing, I won't accept it for that kind of money it will need to be complete.

I'm in the Raleigh-Durham NC area. Garcia Moto is the dealer I've been talking with.

I left the 1250 R/T motorcycle at the dealer; it did not have adaptative cruise control or a stereo system. I had insurance lyft ride to the dealer and was ready to ride away...Im a little pissed it was a 3+month wait now I am back to square one...

Did you order the bike with a radio or radio prep?
I could not order a radio but ordered the prep
