Dear forum,
I have recently read a local article about boosting the BMW boxer engine which many say it lucks a bit of power. (Yes, even the 2010 model). I own a R1200RT 2010 model which I admire but a bit more power will make it perfect. The booster is actually a simple 90$ sensor which "cheats" the engine's on board computer by 20c less thus injects more fuel - exactly what this engine needs. Surprisingly, the bottom line causes less fuel consumption overall since the boost provides the engine about 10% more power & smoothness and causes less effort from it. (All the above is from what I read - I did not actually tested it).
Anyone aware of this issue? Anyone installed it and may provide inputs? (Attached the 90$ sensor picture which they say very easy for self installation - no need for expensive power commander and Acropovitch exhausts...etc....).

Not much love for those types of devices on the forums. I came across it awhile back and did some searching.
