99 R1100RT Stalls after a few minutes
Hi all,
I've been trying to research a lil issue with a bike I just picked up yesterday. it's a 99 r1100rt with about 57k miles and is in pretty amazing shape. The previous owner has owned the bike for 3 years and ridden about 25k miles and decided to sell because he just doesn't have time or patience for the issue at hand. It appears as though the bike has developed an issue with stalling out after anywhere from 4 to 10 mins of running idle. He stated that it began when he power washed the bike, so I figure he might have gotten into some sensitive area. He claims that his brief research led him to believe that a Hall sensor might be the culprit.
Any other ideas as to where to begin?
