Thank you for the link. I'd like to use the BMW prep kit and this adaptor appears to make that possible, however the cost of the prep kit from BMW is >$ than the Zumo XT. Ouch.

An option if you want to keep the XM radio in the mushroom is to add a ram ball post to the steering center hole by removing the BMW emblem. I added this ram ball then used the 4 button GPS holder I had to use with the Nav V and VI units I have
