Maybe if you had 2 phones but, I'm doubtful that would work. The TFT and Connected App keep getting updated so I wouldn't be surprised if they get it right eventually... but then again, I also wouldn't be surprised if they never do.

All I want to do is get voice directions from the XT. I know I can’t connect both the TFT and the XT to the phone. Although I did see a UTube video that paired the Nav VI to the phone Bluetooth and the same phone paired to the TFT with WiFi. I tried connecting the XT with the second mobile phone pairing it made noises when it would try and speak but wasn’t clear when I was listening to the radio xm radio from the bike.

IMO..the XT works better anyway and with the sena you can just say 'hello sena', 'next' to go to the next song or 'hello' loud enough - or any word I believe - to answer a call. Plus w/XT you can get weather radar that's not even possible with the TFT.

Dealers should offer a Zumo XT/ XM antenna relocation. Mount the XT above the TFT and move the XM antenna to a new location. I bet they would get allot of takers.

Is there still a USB/Audio cable in the cubby? I'm wondering if a Bluetooth receiver could be installed in the cubby and then listen to the audio jack input on the bike's speakers. Pair the XT to that receiver.
I'm partially deaf. I don't want speakers in my helmet since I don't listen to music on the bike. I'd just want Navigation to come over the speakers. That I can hear. Not that I'm replacing my 2015 RT right now.

On my RT, I have a combo USB jack and a 3.5mm audio port. A cheap Bluetooth receiver wouldn't take much power and could be powered by the USB. Then plugged into the 3.5mm headphone port. Allowing the reception of Bluetooth from the Zumo XT. At least that would be the theory.
SO I was asking if the newest RT has those same ports.

The newer RTs unfortunately do not have the 3.5mm port nor all the capabilities of the older USB ports. This happened at the same time they went to the TFT display I believe.

The older USB port not only provided power but also the ability to access MP3/audio tracks.

i run all my auxiliary items completely separate from the main harness so no canbus issues nor any chance that a device could cause a failure in main power All devices are powered through an Arboreal Systems Neutrino power block. neutrinoblackbox.com

Remove the windshield metal lifting bracket by removing the clips from the four pins and pushing them out, top arms are spring loaded remove those pins first. Remove both front painted panels there is a push rivet you need to pop out and a screw behind the speaker and three on the sides. Remove the center section that has the mushroom on it. The mushroom can be unplugged from under this center panel and removing one screw under this panel frees the mushroom for removal. I unplugged the xm antenna connection from the radio and added a antenna I purchased on Amazon to the tail section of my bike. Mounted a GPS Garmin Zumo XT with a mount from FMS where the mushroom was. XM reception greatly improved and prefect place for the gps.

deserttan, After you remove the windshield metal lifting brackets, can I turn the ignition off and remove the mushroom antenna and mount the new bracket in place. Then turn it back on when I'm ready to put it back together.

There is also and Italian made adpter for the Zumo XT that allows you to mount it in the NAV cradle and supplies power to the XT ( https://www.adapter3dmotorrad.com/en/product/e-navxt/ ) . Looks like it's a 3D printer made product. Perfect position and great display. No Wonder Wheel control though...

There is not a NAV cradle on the newer RTs and other models with the 10" TFT
