I really like the ESA on my 2011 R1200RT. On most of the motorcycles I have owned, I almost always do a full rework of the suspension, with new rear shock or spring, and reworking the front end also. However, I must say, the suspension on my bike is really, really nice! It seems set up perfectly for me.
I would like to learn more about how it works. Does anyone know what components are changed when the ESA settings are changed? In other words, when going from 1up to 2up, I assume the rear preload increases. But, does the front suspension change? If so, how does that work?
And if someone has a link that can explain this to me, I would appreciate it!
