That's a new one, I haven't seen a problem like that before. Mine failed due to connections for the LCD screen. When mine failed it turned into vertical lines with no visible information on the screen. Just be aware that if you replace the entire instrument cluster you will lose your mileage record and your bike will show the mileage from the donor bike. I bought an American instrument cluster off eBay and my bike now says it has done 38,000 miles. My bike has actually done about 103,000 kms.Has anyone seen this happen to their display and looks like I may have to replace it eventually. It is still functional, but I can see it getting worse as time goes on. Can't seem to find any except new for like $1500...ouch!

Yes, it does look strange. I thought it might have been some kind of pixel degradation but when you look at the pixels on the rest of the screen they are smaller. I guess the question is, does it go away when the bike is turned off or is it there all the time.That does not look like it is actually in the LCD screen but on top of it, like dirt on the back side of the clear cover screen. May be able to clean it off.

Yes it does look like your LCD is degrading. I haven't seen it like that before.It is there all the time, looks like from LCD as far as I can tell :-(. Also looks like I maybe loosing from the very top.
